(Amseen-C2) FAQ

1. Network Connection

1.1- Camera can’t connect to network

I have attached the video tutorial for the camera connection:

 

1.Have you seen the blue indicator light after you pressing the RST button to turn on the camera? (Need to press the RST button about 5 seconds)

 

2.Have you heard the beep sound when you hold the camera to scan the QR code on your phone?

 

3. Or you can use another way of bluetooth connection

Please turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile phone first,

1). after you select "Add Device" and then select "Cannot find QR

2). code. Use other methods". 

3). Click the device icon on the page, then click "SELECT A DEVICE" below.

4). Select the 2.4GHz WiFi that can be connected, and then click "CONTINUE".

 

4.If the connection still fails after troubleshoot the above 3 steps, may I have your camera SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.

2. Offline Problem

2.1- Camera offline

1. May I have your camera’s SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.


2. What’s the status of your camera’s indicator light? Flashing blue or always blue light?


3. It may be because the WLAN signal is too weak, can you please place the camera closer to the router for use, the signal of the WiFi should be kept above 85%.

3. Charging Problem

3.1- After connecting the solar panel and camera the camera cannot be turned on

1.  Have you seen the green flash light on the camera lens when you cannot the camera?


2.  Please unplug the charging cable, and press the RST button about 5 seconds, can you see the blue indicator light on the camera lens?


3.  Unplug the solar panel, charge directly with the USB cable, and check the status of the indicator light.


4.  May I have your camera’s SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.

3.2- The battery runs fast

2.Could you please check the quantity of motion detection event for the camera during a day?


3.Are cameras’ batteries draining fast after fully charged? Could you please tell me the detailed usage time length after fully charged?


4.Could you please check if the firmware for cameras is the newest? If not, please try to update the firmware for your cameras.
You can click in camera/ setting -- firmware updates -- check updates -- update new firmware.

4. Motion Detection Problem

4.1- Camera not detect motion

1.Could you please check if the firmware for the cameras is the newest? If not, please try to update the firmware for your cameras.
You can click in camera setting -- firmware updates -- check updates -- update new firmware.


2.If the camera still not detect after updating firmware, may I have your camera’s SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.


3.Could you please photo the installation place? And please screenshot the living stream video. Our technician will check the problem soon.

4.2- False Alarms, motion detection is too sensitive

1.Could you please check if the firmware for the cameras is the newest? If not, please try to update the firmware for your cameras.
You can click in camera setting -- firmware updates -- check updates -- update new firmware.


2.If the camera still not detect after updating firmware, may I have your camera’s SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.

4.Have you turned the humanoid detection only on? And please max the motion detection sensitivity.
You can click in camera’s setting -- motion detection -- turn on  “humanoid detection only” . Click in Motion detection -- set the motion detection sensitivity to ‘Far’ level.

4.3- Not receiving the motion detection notifications

1.  Please click in aosu app -- events page -- check if there is recorded event video.

 

2.  If there is no video, please give us your camera’s SN number? You can find the SN number at the bottom of the camera.

 

3.  If there is video for the motion detection event, please check if your phone authorized the aosu app with notification. You can click in phone setting -- notification -- find aosu app then authorize the notifications.

5. Function Questions

5.1- How to set sound-light alarms?

Please click in aosu app -- camera’s setting -- auto alarms -- turn on the sound-light alarms.

5.2- How to set the time for the sound-light alarms?

Please click in aosu app -- camera’s setting -- auto alarms -- add alarm period -- custom your camera’s sound light alarms.

5.3- I don’t want the audio alarms, only want the white light alarms.

Please click in aosu app --camera’s setting -- auto alarms -- add alarm period -- custom alarm - - lightly click the alarm sound to cancel it.

5.4- How to turn on the humanoid detection only?

You can click in camera’s setting -- motion detection -- turn on  “humanoid detection only” .

5.5- How to set the motion detection sensitivity?

You can click in camera’s setting -- motion detection -- set the motion detection sensitivity to ‘Far’ level.

5.6- Why my camera fails when updating firmware to latest version?

In general, update failures are related to network status.
There are two main reasons:


1. Your cell phone network signal is poor.


2. Poor WiFi signal from the camera


We suggest you to test the camera after you put it closer to the router to see if you can update it

5.7- How to silent the audio for the recorded event video?

You can click in camera’s setting -- Privacy setting -- turn off the audio in the recording event video.

5.8- How to set the video quality?

You can click in camera’s setting -- Video/Audio -- Set the UHD mode.

5.9- How to set night vision mode?

You can click in camera’s setting -- Video/Audio -- Select the night vision you want.

5.10- How to control the volume of the 2 way audio?

You can click in camera’s setting -- Video/Audio -- Two-way audio -- set the volume.

5.11- How to customize your motion detect notifications?

You can click in camera’s setting -- notification -- Set the notification mode -- you can customize the notification type in the intelligent mode.

5.12- Why does my camera always prompt that the memory card needs to be formatted?

Please use a Micro SD card with the specification "8-128GB, Class10, fat32 or exfat32" (Micro SD card from Netac is recommended).

6. Smart Device Connection

6.1- How to connect the Alexa or Google Assistant:

Click in Alexa App -- Skills & Games -- Search Aosu -- log in your aosu app account -- complete the bundle.
